Channel Manager

SparkCognition is looking for a Channel Manager for the SparkSecure product lines. The right candidate will have experience in the cybersecurity space, handling different types of channel partners including Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators and Managed Security Service Providers. The position will be involved in every phase of the channel lifecycle journey, including identifying, on-boarding, training, enabling and tracking channel partners.

This is a key position in SparkCognition’s cybersecurity team and offers great potential for future growth and expansion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible to identify the right partners for SparkSecure across channel partner types and geographies
  • Training partners on the value of the product and positioning in the market place
  • Working with the SparkCognition technical team to manage the transfer of technical know-how to partners, including certifications
  • Handholding new partners through sales calls as they learn the product and how it is deployed
  • Tracking and managing the health of the partner program in the security space, through developing and tracking Partner Business Plans
  • Help partners with demand generation with joint SparkCognition – Partner marketing programs
  • Develop and maintain deal registration and other channel conflict management programs to ensure consistency across the partner field and also with respect to field sales
  • Responsible for the overall growth and health and revenue of the partner community
  • Responsible for achieving channel sales goals for the SparkSecure product

The role will include ~20% travel to support partner activities. Preferred location is Austin but all locations considered.

The right candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, Master’s preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a Channel role in cybersecurity
  • Experience with managing different types of cybersecurity partners and documented history of success through revenue growth or MBOs
  • Experience working with leading VARs, SIs, MSSPs in the US / Canada
  • Understanding of the Cybersecurity ecosystem and latest trends in the industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, Master’s preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a Channel role in cybersecurity
  • Experience with managing different types of cybersecurity partners and documented history of success through revenue growth or MBOs
  • Experience working with leading VARs, SIs, MSSPs in the US / Canada
  • Understanding of the Cybersecurity ecosystem and latest trends in the industry
